As part of AOPA NZ’s ongoing work to support New Zealand’s general aviation community, they have recently included a new Flight Planning page on our website. It brings together many of the most commonly used flight planning resources in one place, it’s free to use, and available to everyone.
The page has been designed as a one-stop hub for GA pilots, with quick access to:

- NOTAMs and aeronautical information
- Flight plan filing
- Weight and balance and performance calculators
- Airspace and navigation resources
- Fuel information
- Other useful aviation planning tools
Our aim is to make effective pre-flight planning easier by reducing the need to search across multiple websites.
